My research focuses on building trustworthy and safe AI systems that foster user trust, increase transparency, and ensure accountability. As a User Experience researcher, my work is centered around the design of supportive experiences that enable users to communicate online without fear of mistranslation or misinterpretation, creating an inclusive environment for diverse cultural backgrounds.
My experiences span applied, user-centric natural language processing, particularly in social media posts, cross-cultural communication, and the dissemination of misinformation in politics. My research interests include UX research, qualitative and quantitative methods, mixed-method research, responsible AI, applied machine learning, psychology, inclusive design, and human-computer interaction.
